FORD AUSSIE HOOPS

Ford Aussie Hoops is an introductory basketball program for kids, created by Basketball Australia to foster confidence and skill development in children. The Hills Raiders conduct the Ford Aussie Hoops program at Mundaring Arena.

Ford Aussie Hoops sessions are 45 minutes each and occur weekly during the school term.

This program not only introduces the basics of the game but also encourages a healthy, active lifestyle and social development, contributing to stronger, more connected communities.

Tailored for various age groups, Ford Aussie Hoops features three progressive stages. Each stage is carefully designed to match the participants’ physical and mental growth, gradually increasing in competitiveness. This prepares them for eventual participation in local club competitions.
